Founded in 1968, Black Sabbath are the absolute pioneers of heavy metal. Their first albums laid the foundation for an entire genre and defined the sound of an entire generation. Even today, over 40 years after its founding, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Tony Iomi - after many changes in their occupations – are together known as Black Sabbath.
