SET FOR 2 SHOWS IN MAY
The World-famous basketball exhibition team are returning to Romania with two dates in 2 cities! The show will come to Bucharest 22nd of May, Craiova 24th of May and Cluj-Napoca 26th of May 2019.
The Harlem Globetrotters are known for their amazing basketball skills, humor, and acts of goodwill on and off the court.
Basketball fans will have a unique opportunity to get closer to the action than ever before. Join the stars as they celebrate fans during the all-new Fan Powered World Tour! The new tour gives fans multiple opportunities during and after the game to interact directly with the Globetrotters stars.
The Harlem Globetrotters were founded by Abe Saperstein in 1926, and the first official game was played on January 7th 1927. Over the years they have played more than 26,000 exhibition games in 123 countries and territories. Romania’s passionate basketball culture has made it a favored country to visit for the show. This year a three-city tour will ensure that as many basketball fans as possible will have a chance to see some of the world’s most entertaining basketball live.
As a new addition this year, fans can download the Globetrotters’ interactive mobile application with exclusive features, including an augmented reality basketball toss game. Through the app, fans can participate in an extended World Record by spinning a ball on their finger.
Tickets are available at Eventim.ro, where fans can also secure a spot at the Globetrotters’ exclusive pre-game event, “Magic Pass”. “Magic Pass” gives fans unprecedented access to the stars of the team, to learn tricks, shoot hoops, and take photos on the court. After the game, fans are invited to take part in a free autograph session.
The star-studded roster includes some of the most electrifying athletes on the planet, Big Easy, Lights Out, Torch, Spider, Bulldog, Flip, Handles lead by legendary coach Sweet Lou Dunbar.
