Paul McCartney - Tickets
Event details
On June 27th, Paul McCartney will be playing his fourth show in Vienna. His last live appearance in Austria was ten years ago, for his Back In The World Tour (2003).
On the Out There! Tour, Paul McCartney takes us on a journey through the different stages of his career: not only will he be performing hits by the Beatles, but also by the Wings, as well as songs from his solo career.
McCartney live is a unique and unparalleled experience. In about three hours, fans relive the moments that have made musical history over the last 50 years - for many, the soundtrack of a lifetime.
2012 marks the 40-year anniversary of his first solo tour. The last four decades took him to breathtaking and impressive stages and locations. He played at Moscow's Red Square, in front of Rome's Colosseum, and in the White House in Washington. In Mexico, he played a free concert for 400.000 people, and he even performed in outer space!
For more than ten years, Paul's band has consisted of Paul Wix Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass, guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr. (drums), and their show has never disappointed a fan.
After an exceptionally successful year 2012, the new year is filled with Paul's enthusiasm as well. He finished his record tour On The Run, released his chart hit album Kisses On The Bottom, received a star on Hollywood's Walk Of Fame, played at the British Queen's Diamond Jubilee and at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in London, and was named MusiCare's Person of the Year, to mention but a few highlights.
The Out There! tour and his work on a new album suggest that Paul is not planning on slowing down this year, either.
